Law and Baseball features articles concerning law and legal matters that I think are timely or relevant or interesting. I sometimes write about the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Baseball Team.
The name “Law and Baseball” was an easy choice for me. My friends with SEO concerns may not approve, but I’m not writing for SEO purposes. I’m writing because it’s two topics that I am passionate about.
I heard a judge tell a jury once that he was kind of like an umpire. He was there to rule on the law and the conduct of the trial. He then went on to admit that no one ever went to a baseball game to see the umpire. I liked that judge.
I also like it that law and baseball are inextricably entwined in our history.
